Structured Cabling Design and Installation

Structured cabling is the backbone of a successful network. Understanding where it’s going is an important consideration in building a network that’s as efficient as it is dependable. With decades of industry experience, we can design, install, and provide ongoing maintenance to customized cable systems as well as to networks, Wi-Fi, and security systems.

CAT5 and CAT6 Cable Installation

CAT5 and CAT5E offer reliable Ethernet cabling with speeds of 10-100Mbps and a 100 MHz bandwidth, while CAT6 provides higher capacities up to 250 MHz and speeds up to 10Gbps for shorter distances (up to 180 ft.), often meeting the minimum standard for new low-voltage cable installations.

For even greater speed and long-distance data support, CAT6A is the ideal choice, offering 10Gbps transfer rates at up to 500MHz and full compatibility with CAT5, CAT5A, and CAT6.

Whether you’re starting fresh or improving your current system, we help you choose the best solution for your needs and handle all of the installation, so you can stay connected with fewer interruptions.

Backbone and Vertical Cabling

Backbone cabling, or Vertical Cabling, utilizes shielded and unshielded, coaxial, ethernet, and fiber optic cables to allow for easy connection between telecom, equipment, and entrance facilities. Backbone cabling is literally the foundation of an organization’s communication system as the cabling stretches vertically through a building from floor to floor in cable bundles that can extend to nearly 100 feet.

Utilizing a combination of CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6, or CAT6A ethernet and Fiber Optic cables, horizontal cabling systems connect a facility’s data outlets to the telecommunications room, spread across a single floor.

Data Cable Certification

All installed cable, data, and fiber runs are certified in-house by Nascient Networks via cutting-edge Fluke DSX 5000 cable certifiers. Each certification can be verified by the customer with a PDF report provided by Fluke, which ensures the cable installed meets or exceeds TIA industry standards. In addition, we can also certify pre-existing cable installations in order to troubleshoot network connectivity issues such as low data speeds or dead connections.

Nascient Networks brings decades of IT experience to design, implement and manage critical network systems and infrastructure, so you can concentrate on running your business smoothly.
